Air Travel - 2002

2002 was planned to include our first flights to and from Prestwick and with Ryanair. Unfortunately family illness prevented this. However, we added two new carriers (United Airlines & Southwest Airlines) and four new airports (Denver, CO; Boise, ID, Chicago O'Hare, IL and Salt Lake City, UT) to our experiences.

The year concluded with Stewart undertaking a short term assignment to Ontario, Canada and the opportunity to fly into and out of Toronto Terminal 1 for probably the last time before closure which is planned for 2003. The picture to the left shows the new Terminal at Toronto from the top of the Terminal 1 Car Park on 7 October 2002.
