Heavy inflight turbulence in the mid Atlantic for around 1 hour. Around 10 minutes after putting the seat belt sign on the captain also requested that the Flight Attendants returned to their seats. The Scottish coast was crossed just north of Stranraer at 09:50GMT. Overflew Birmingham at 10:15. At 10:22 put on hold as the aircraft overflew Princes Risborough. Came off hold at 10:40. Concorde was waiting at the hold point for 09L at LHR to take off. Did not see it take off, due to several aircraft landing whilst I could see the runway during the taxi to Terminal 3.
