Held on the taxiway at Hold G2 behind bmi EMB145 G-RJXF (at Hold G1) and an unidentified BRAL J31, whilst an RAF Tornado GR.4A ZA398 landed (low fuel emergency?). Thanks are due to all those on Scotavnet who posted info about the Tornado.

After takeoff, a tight right turn gave a routing over Glasgow City Centre and South Side (the covers were on at Hampden Park) and to the west of East Kilbride before climbing into the clouds.
