Delayed due to an ATC computer failure earlier in the day. Boarding at Gatwick was via the aircraft steps due to a fault with the jetty.

As a result of the ATC delays only one arcraft was being allowed to leave Gatwick for the north every ten minutes. G-DOCK was at Hold J7 from 2040 to 2045, and Hold J1 from 2046 to 2049. Also a cruising altitude of 18,000ft was used (against the usual around 35,000ft).
