I was originally booked on BA 1641 (BA service from Madrid through Manchester to Glasgow), however due to the technical problem with G-ERJE at the beginning of the day at Glasgow, the aircraft was still over one hour down on its schedule. With a flexible ticket, I was able to change to the bmi British Midland flight, being one of only three passengers on board.
