Receiving attention from Engineers at GLA
During the pre-flight checks (at 06:40), a fault was discovered with a cockpit computer resulting in the audible alarms not functioning correctly. A repleacement part had to be flown up from Southampton. The last passenger was rounded up and boarded at 09:23.

The extended wait for this flight resulted on a larger than usual observation report at Glasgow.

With the flight being 2 hours 25 minutes late departing for Manachester (and onwards to Madrid), the return - BA 1641 - was also delayed. As a result I changed my return flight to bmi BD 393.
