Observations of British Operated Embraer ERJ 135 & ERJ145
As the result of work commitments, I started travelling on BRAL operated Embraer ERJ145. At that time (Spring 1998) BRAL only had five of this type, although the fleet has considerably expanded in recent years. There is also a number of the smaller ERJ135 in service in the UK. This page gives access to the details of the observations I have made and includes some of the pictures I have taken.
Although not UK registered several ERJ135/145 have been leased to bmi British Midland and Eastern Airways.
Further details about Embraer can be found at
Embraer's web site.
Following the takeover of BRAL by British Airways, BRAL and Brymon Airways were combined as British Airways Citiexpress as of 1 April 2002.
Several of the aircraft are no longer registered in the UK. These are shown by (RET). Where I have been able to determine the future use, this is detailed on the individual pages.
